Hello there! My name is Siya (pronounce just like how Yorkshire people say see you “See -Ya”) and I am an illustrator based in West Yorkshire.
I am originally from China but have made Britain my adopted homeland and I have been living in the West Yorkshire countryside near two decades. Many of my illustrations are inspired by the British countryside and my love of nature. I am also influences by folk art, antique textiles, mid century design, and my travel. I love to paint everything floral, draw charming characters, and explore different art forms.
My work has been used across greeting cards, children’s fiction books, editorial publications, advertising, licensing merchandise, illustrated maps, and event illustrations. Alongside my commercial design work I am also a skilful printmaker specialised in screen-printing and lino printing. My prints are stocked in a wide range of independent stores, bookshops and galleries across the country.
I love to work on all kinds of illustrations, I will create visual stories that support your needs. If you have a project you would like me to work on please don’t hesitate to get in touch, we can have a chat how we could work together!
